The Salisbury Static Discharge Stick is designed to safely remove the static charge after de-energizing. This tool is pre-assembled and includes a copper “U” hook, 3’6’’ closed cell foam filled tubular fiberglass stick and 6’ of copper grounding cable attached to a Salisbury 1814 bronze flat jaw serrated grade 3 clamp. Also available in a 1’ length stick.
Designed to safety remove the static charge after de-energizing. This grounding tool is pre-assembled and includes a brass alloy “U” hook, and a 4′ closed sell foam filled tubular fiberglass switch stick or as a 1′ universal attachment made in accordance with ASTM F-711.
Salisbury Static Discharge Stick Features
Brass alloy ‘U’ shaped hook to engage precipitator plates.
3’8″ x 1 ¼” fiber glass pole for installation. Fiber glass pole has a solid unicellular foam core and is tested to OSHA and ASTM F-711 specifications.
6 feet of No. 2 AWG extra flexible copper grounding cable. Cable jacket is bright yellow neoprene for durability.
Aluminum alloy ‘T’ handle flat ground clamp can be attached to flat, round and square hardware. Serrated jaws open to 1 ½” capacity.
WARNING: Discharge sticks are not grounding tools as described by OSHA 1910.269 and carry no fault duty rating.
