VFD Mode
Noisy signals? No problem. The DM284’s VFD Mode uses a low-pass filter to provide accurate voltage, current and frequency readings in environments where they can be affected by switching electronics and variable frequency drives (VFD’s).

Featuring 18 measurement functions including True RMS, LoZ, and NCV, you can verify potential issues with trusted readings every time – even for the most complex measurements. The DM284 also includes a thermocouple input and allows you to view thermal and electrical measurements simultaneously.

Functional design
The simple user interface is intuitive to use and the thermal camera features 3 color palettes to choose from. Built-in worklights and a laser pointer help you access difficult locations with lighting issues and pinpoint the location of the problem in the thermal image.

The DM284 comes with CAT IV-1000 Volt double-coated multi-color Silicone Test Leads with wear indication for durability and safety. They include gold plated tips for professional precision and removable control tip covers.

FLIR TA72 & TA74 Universal Flex Current Probe Accessory
A designated Flex Clamp setting allows the DM284 to work perfectly with the optional TA72 and TA74 accessory clamps which are made with a narrow flexible coil clamp to let you easily take measurements in tight or awkward spots.
