Glove Inflator Kit for use with linesman’s gloves. Improves inspecting gloves in the field, inflates by pumping bellows against any smooth flat surface. Includes glove adapter, nylon strap and carry bag.
The glove is secured to the inflator by securing the glove over the soft outer TPR material shell. There are no extra straps.
Inflation is accomplished by pumping the spigmo (black ball) to the desired state and closing the shutoff value for inspection.
The Proper Inspection
OSHA 1901.137 states “Insulated Equipment Shall Be Inspected before each day’s use and immediately following any incident that can reasonably be suspected of having caused damage. Insulating gloves shall be given an air test with inspection.
Rubber gloves are tested and date stamped before they leave the factory. Once in use, gloves should be inspected daily and should be retested by a laboratory every 6 months.
