Oberon’s FaceFit® ArcShield^TM is designed to provide protection from low-level energy arc flash hazards. The ArcShield, when worn with a sock hood, provides protection for NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category 2* (HRC2*), up to 12 cal/cm2.

The FaceFit ArcShield is injection molded with Oberon’s proprietary ArcX^TM polycarbonate energy absorbing plastic. Polycarbonate is the plastic of choice in the safety industry for impact performance. This high-tech material allows for a superior visible light transmission (VLT). The ArcShield comes standard with a hard cap with an upper and lower crown, plus side shield extenders. The upper and lower crown protect the forehead and chin. Side extenders give side head coverage including the ears.
